Creatine in Nepal

Creatine monohydrate is the most heavily studied sports supplement in existence, with a long research record covering strength, power and repeated-effort performance. It is also one of the cheapest per serving, which is why it is usually the first thing experienced lifters add.

Before you buy

What actually matters.

Monohydrate is the studied form

Almost all of the research uses creatine monohydrate. More expensive forms have not shown a meaningful advantage in the literature.

Cheap per working serving

A month of daily monohydrate costs less than a single café drink. Price is rarely the reason to skip it.

No loading required

Loading (20 g/day for 5–7 days) fills muscle stores faster. Skipping it and taking 3–5 g daily reaches the same place, just more slowly.

Quick checklist

Before you tap order.

  • Buy plain unflavoured monohydrate — it mixes clear in water and is the cheapest way to buy it.
  • A teaspoon is roughly 3–5 g. A scale is better than guessing.
  • It is normal to feel a few kilograms heavier in the first couple of weeks, largely from water inside muscle tissue.
  • Take it consistently every day rather than only on training days.

Does creatine cause hair loss?

There is a single 2009 study that reported a rise in a hormone linked to hair loss in rugby players taking creatine. It has not been replicated, and later studies have not found the same effect. If hair loss runs in your family and you are concerned, speak to a dermatologist before starting.

Is creatine safe for healthy adults?

Long-term research, including work in older adults, has not identified a consistent safety signal at commonly used doses. If you have a kidney condition or are under medical care, talk to your doctor first.

Creatine or protein — which should I buy first?

If your protein intake is already low, fix that first; it matters more day to day. Once protein is covered, creatine is the most cost-effective addition for strength and power work.
